Tuning File Service
HIGH QUALITY ECU CHIP TUNING FILES
As automotive engineers, we understand how performance, efficiency and reliability should be achieved in a vehicle. The Engine Management System (ECU) is the device required to establish this balance. In this way, we can regain the torque increase that can be obtained in vehicles. This document shows how we prepare high quality ECU tuning files and the quality of service we provide.
THE KEY PRINSIPLES OF ECU CHIP TUNING
ECU tuning is the modification and recalibration of engine management functions by modifying software parameters. We improve the fuel economy, high performance and driving characteristics of vehicles.
Basic contents of ECU tuning:
- Ignition Timing
- Fuel Injection
- Boost Pressure (Turbocharged vehicles)
- Variable Valve Degree Settings
- Torque Limiters
- REV Limiters
- Speed Limiters
DYNO DEVELOPMENT
Our ability to produce the highest quality, reliable and safe chip tuning files is based on certain criteria:
Dynamomoter Testing and Datalogging
First of all, we use dynamomoter to test the original condition of the vehicles, recording engine power, torque curve and fuel consumption. In our dyno sessions, we record various engine operating parameters. Some of these are:
- Air-Fuel Ratio
- Ignition Timing
- Exhaust Gas Pressure
- Exhaust Back Pressure
- Intake Air Temperature
- Knock Sensor Activity
Configuring Map Parameters
We re-modify the necessary engine management maps based on the obtained test data:
1 - Fueling Maps: We re-tune the fuel injection mapping to ensure the engine reaches the most optimal and maximum power
2 - Ignition Timing Maps: We re-adjust the fuel burn timing so that the engine can reach the maximum limit safely.
3 - Boost Maps: We provide the safest manifold pressure increase according to the type of fuel used.
4 - Torque Limiter Maps: Increasing the torque limits to the safe level of the engine
Real Road Testing
After the Dyno tests are completed, the final condition of the vehicle must be retested and approved in a real road environment. The applications for this are:
- Cold start
- Throttle response
- Part-load efficiency
- Full-load performance
- High-speed stability
After the tuning software application, it is very important that the vehicle can be used stably and that the engine life continues to work without change. For this reason, vehicle software is subjected to long tests on vehicles.
